Peaceful resort-style motel on 10 acres of lovely natural bush within walking distance of Healesville Sanctuary.

This property offers accommodation to suit everyone; motel suites for 2-4 people, self contained units with separate bedroom for 2-4 people and a farmhouse on a separate property which can accommodate up to 10 people.

This is a motel with a difference. Sanctuary House is secluded, relaxing and peaceful with lovely garden surrounds that attract the local birdlife and additional facilities one would not expect in a "traditional" motel.

On site there is an casual BYO restaurant offering home cooked meals, guest lounge with log fire, indoor recreation room with pool table, indoor heated spa room for two, sauna, outdoor swimming pool and a picnic area with a gazebo for barbecues and spit roasts (by arrangement with your accommodation). In addition there is a children's play area and a fifteen-minute bush walk around the property.

Unlike traditional motel units each of the 12 main suites open onto the garden and cars are parked a short distance away to reduce noise. The units are tastefully decorated and offer queen beds, electric blankets, TV, air-conditioning/reverse cycle heating, small ensuite bathrooms, and tea and coffee making facilities .

The two self-contained units offer more privacy and each has a separate bedroom (queen bed) bathroom and equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with sofa beds (for additional guests or children) and TV.
